Couple in North Antrim convicted for assault on young boy, leaving him blind and brain-damaged.

A couple from North Antrim, Chris and Amanda Fulton, has been convicted in Newry Crown Court for their roles in a brutal assault that left a young boy blind and brain-damaged. Chris Fulton was found guilty of grievous bodily harm with intent and two child cruelty charges. Amanda was acquitted of GBH but convicted of allowing significant harm to the child. The boy suffered severe injuries and required urgent medical care. Sentencing is set for December 13.
