During the fall climbing season in Nepal, 712 climbers from 62 countries, including 163 women, have received permits to ascend 29 mountains. Notably, 308 climbers are targeting Mount Manaslu, the eighth-highest peak. The Nepali government has generated $366,853 in permit fees and plans to open an additional 57 mountains, increasing the total to 476 accessible peaks, including Mount Everest.
