Lola Gilbo and Logan McGilvrey, 16-year-old members of the Kurtijar people, completed a two-week work experience at Glenlands cattle station in Queensland, preparing for the 2024 Bull Sale. Despite lacking prior experience in the industry, they engaged in various tasks and gained valuable insights. Their participation is part of a youth development program by Delta Downs, aimed at providing educational opportunities for young community members. They hope others can enjoy similar experiences.
