Derek A. Wayman, 44, was fatally shot during a burglary attempt in Camden County, Missouri, on October 2. A resident shot him while Wayman and another man were breaking into a home. Wayman died at the scene, and authorities are currently working with local law enforcement to identify the accomplice who fled the scene. Wayman was known to frequent the Sparta and Springfield areas.
