The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced $11.04 million in federal funding for the Dairy Business Innovation Initiatives (DBIIs) to support small and mid-sized dairy businesses. This funding, revealed by Secretary Tom Vilsack and Senator Tammy Baldwin at the World Dairy Expo, aims to enhance competitiveness and economic growth in rural areas. Since 2019, the DBI program has invested over $64 million in dairy projects nationwide.
