Nigeria and Brazil discuss direct flights through BASA, aiming to enhance trade and cultural exchanges.

Nigeria and Brazil are in discussions to establish direct flights through the Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA), following a commitment from Nigerian President Bola Tinubu. The initiative aims to facilitate 4 to 5 flights weekly, enhancing trade and cultural exchanges. Nigerian airlines Air Peace and Caverton will operate the routes, with both countries forming committees to finalize BASA arrangements, building on a 2018 Memorandum of Understanding for improved air connectivity.
