Aaron Lewis, a 48-year-old wheat farmer from Ballarat, pleaded guilty to unlawful assault and assaulting emergency workers after attacking a man attempting to repossess his vehicle and injuring two police officers. In court, he refused to identify himself, leading Magistrate Costas Kilias to issue a warrant for his arrest. Ultimately, Lewis was sentenced to a 12-month good behavior undertaking and a $200 fine, with no prior relevant convictions.
