The Mykhailivka community in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region is constructing its eighth underground school, supported by nearly 17 million hryvnias from the government. Designed for 200 students in two shifts, the first school is set to open this fall. By 2025, the region plans to build five more underground schools, aiming to provide safe education for 60,000 children amid ongoing threats from Russian strikes.
