Tata Steel reports 5% increase in domestic crude steel production in Q2 FY25, with UK production down 50%.

Tata Steel reported a 5% increase in domestic crude steel production in Q2 FY25, totaling 5.27 million tons, with deliveries up 6% to 5.10 million tons. However, UK production fell 50% to 0.38 million tons, while Netherlands production rose 41% to 1.68 million tons. The company plans a £1.25 billion investment in low-CO2 steelmaking at Port Talbot, aiming to resume production by 2027-2028. Revenues from its e-commerce platform reached Rs. 1,263 crore.
