India and the UAE plan to create a $2 billion food corridor to enhance food processing capabilities, benefiting Indian farmers and the UAE market. Announced by Union Minister Piyush Goyal, the initiative aims to increase farmer incomes and job opportunities over the next two-and-a-half years. A working group will facilitate the project, which includes establishing investment promotion offices and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade's first overseas campus in the UAE.
