Deputy Joshua Dangerfield arrested, fired, and charged for stealing fuel using a work fuel card.

West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputy Joshua Dangerfield has been arrested and fired for allegedly stealing fuel. The investigation found he used a fuel card meant for a transportation van to fill his personal vehicle at a parish-operated pump. Dangerfield, employed since June 2024, faces charges of theft and malfeasance in office. He was released on an $11,500 bond following his arrest.
