Spencer Alec Gatewood, 30, from Altamont, Kansas, died in a car accident on Saturday afternoon in Labette County. Driving a 2019 Hyundai Elantra, he lost control on 24000 Road, causing the vehicle to overturn in a pond. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. Gatewood was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was taken to Frontier Forensics for examination.
