46-year-old Raymond Stephenson was tased, punched, and charged with assaulting police after calling them for a disturbance at his home.

Raymond Stephenson, 46, called the police on July 10 for a disturbance at his Seaton home. When officers arrived, he was agitated and holding a hammer, leading them to taser him twice. After removing the taser barbs and remaining aggressive, he was subdued when an officer punched him. Stephenson was charged with assaulting police, admitted guilt, and received a 12-month community order, five rehabilitation days, and a two-month monitored curfew.
