A two-vehicle crash in Jackson County, Kansas, resulted in the death of 77-year-old Dianna Faye Slavens and injuries to Jamie Lynn Wells, 38, and Alva E. Goff Jr., 89. The accident occurred when Slavens failed to yield while entering U.S. 75 from a private drive, colliding with Wells' northbound Toyota Rav4. All three individuals were wearing seat belts. Slavens was pronounced dead at the scene, while Wells and Goff were taken to Holton Community Hospital.
