Queen Camilla, at an awards ceremony at Clarence House, commended the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) for enhancing osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment. She shared her personal connection to the disease, as her mother, Rosalind Shand, died from it when awareness was limited. Dr. Nicky Peel received the Queen's Award for her leadership in the field. Camilla also acknowledged the Sunday Express and Daily Mail for their campaigns that have raised public awareness about osteoporosis.
