Greek drivers are increasingly adopting electric vehicles (EVs), highlighted by the prominence of Chinese brands at the "Auto Athina 2024" exhibition. In July, EV sales reached 882 units, marking a 53.93% year-over-year increase and a 7.22% market share. To encourage this shift, the Greek government offers subsidies of up to €22,500 and aims for EVs to constitute 30% of new registrations by 2030, alongside plans to expand public charging infrastructure.
