Matthew Nicklas, a 41-year-old director for the Pickaway County Board of Elections, was arrested by Circleville Police following a search warrant at his home. He faces charges of raping a minor under 13, as part of an investigation led by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Nicklas is currently in Pickaway County Jail and will appear in municipal court, with additional charges expected. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
