A 32-year-old man in Manitoba was arrested for impersonating a police officer after he stopped two women on Highway 9, falsely accusing them of speeding. The suspect, using a pickup truck with emergency lights, fled when asked for his identification. Following a search warrant executed at his home, police seized various items, including firearms. He was charged and released with a court date. Selkirk RCMP commended the women for their reports that led to the arrest.
