Wiltshire Council commits extra £22m for road repairs, using a new, efficiency-driven velocity patcher.

Wiltshire Council leader Cllr Richard Clewer has praised a new machine, the velocity patcher, for its effectiveness in repairing potholes, achieving twenty to thirty times the work of manual crews. The council has committed an additional £22 million to road improvements, supplementing £20.7 million from the government. As winter approaches, officials anticipate an increase in pothole reports due to worsening road conditions.
