On October 5, Canpac Marine Services conducts 6,000-meter sea trials of its developed ROV for maintenance on Ocean Networks Canada's NEPTUNE Observatory.

Canpac Marine Services Inc. will conduct sea trials of its advanced remotely operated vehicle (ROV), capable of diving to 6,000 meters, off Vancouver Island starting October 5. This eight-day mission aims to perform maintenance on Ocean Networks Canada's 800-kilometer NEPTUNE Observatory. Developed over two and a half years at a cost of approximately $8 million, the ROV features advanced navigation, high-resolution imaging, and dexterous robotic arms.
