North Dakota AG sues EPA under FOIA for records alleging excessive, unauthorized carbon emission regulations.

North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley has sued the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Freedom of Information Act, seeking records that may show the agency intentionally harmed the fossil fuel industry with new regulations targeting carbon emissions and air toxins. Wrigley claims these rules are costly and beyond the EPA's authority. North Dakota has also partnered with other states in a separate federal lawsuit against the EPA regarding these regulations.
