A bat infestation at Northern Arizona University's Mountain View Hall has led to the evacuation of over 550 students after a bat tested positive for rabies. Since early September, numerous bats have been spotted, prompting health concerns. Students are temporarily relocated to nearby housing until the semester ends. While no injuries have been reported, some students have received rabies vaccinations. A hotline for bat sightings has been established.
