Connecticut's Working Group on Ranked-Choice Voting hosts a forum on November 8 to discuss implementing RCV in primaries and municipal elections.
Connecticut's Working Group on Ranked-Choice Voting, led by Senators Cathy Osten and Tony Hwang, will host a public forum on November 8 to explore implementing ranked-choice voting (RCV) in party primaries and municipal elections. RCV allows voters to rank candidates by preference. Currently used in Maine, Alaska, and some cities, the forum follows the state's general election, where voters will consider a no-excuse absentee voting amendment. Recommendations will be made to the legislature afterward.
