Colorado police chiefs face theft charges for diverting city funds to a private K-9 business and are on administrative leave pending court.
Aaron Fresquez, Chief of the Center Police Department in Colorado, and his brother, Sergeant Adam Fresquez, face theft charges for allegedly using city resources to run a private K-9 training business while on duty. They reportedly diverted funds meant for the town into their own pockets. Following a year-long investigation by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, both officers are on administrative leave and are scheduled to appear in court.
