Ron De La Cruz and his wife Elaine have closed their Bula Bula Bubble Tea & Lounge Bar in Trowbridge's Shires shopping center after just over a year, citing high rents and competition from a nearby Greggs restaurant. They invested £8,000 to £10,000 in the business. The couple also runs JC’s Kitchen at Green Park Station in Bath, which has faced challenges due to rising stock costs and decreased foot traffic following the closure of key local stores.
