Fran Drescher, 67, has been cast as the mother of Timothée Chalamet's character in the upcoming film "Marty Supreme," set in the 1950s ping-pong scene. This marks Drescher's first major film role since 2019. The A24 movie, which follows a young ping-pong pro, also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, and others. It is produced by Josh Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, with no release date announced yet.
