U.S. Government donates $100K of equipment to Liberia Revenue Authority for tax administration improvement.

The U.S. Government has donated $100,000 worth of equipment to the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) to enhance tax administration and support Liberia's goal of increasing its national budget to $1 billion by 2027. Provided through USAID's LEAD Activity, the donation includes laptops and security systems. This assistance coincides with Liberia's shift from Goods and Services Tax to Value Added Tax, aiming to improve domestic revenue generation and public trust in the LRA.
