Maharashtra has become the first Indian state to approve a policy for Green Integrated Data Centre Parks, aiming to attract ₹1.60 lakh crore ($20 billion) in investment. The initiative seeks to enhance digital infrastructure, create approximately 500 high-skilled jobs, and promote eco-friendly practices in the data center sector. The parks, each with a capacity of at least 500 MW, align with India's goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2070.
