Amazon MGM's live-action adaptation of "Voltron: Defender of the Universe" is set to begin filming in Australia this fall. Daniel Quinn-Toye, known for his role as Tom Holland's understudy in "Romeo and Juliet," has been cast as the male lead. Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the film adapts the beloved 1980s animated series about pilots controlling giant lions that form the robot Voltron. A release date has yet to be announced.
