A 67-year-old woman in Ephrata, Washington, was hospitalized after being attacked by six dogs, believed to be pit bull or pit bull mixes, at around 7 a.m. on Tuesday. A neighbor heard her screams for help and drove her home, where EMTs treated her before transporting her to Columbia Basin Hospital. The owner surrendered the dogs to authorities, who are holding them for a 10-day observation period. The woman's current condition is not known.
