21-year-old Maarij Abdullah Afridi arrested for murdering 60-year-old man in Daly City; mother also charged as accomplice.
Maarij Abdullah Afridi, 21, was arrested in Daly City for the murder of a 60-year-old man, found shot multiple times on Sunday evening. Afridi fled the scene but was caught the next day. His mother, 50-year-old Zaib Un Nisa Afridi, was also arrested as an accomplice. Both face felony charges, including first-degree murder, and are held at San Mateo County Jail. The police are seeking additional information from the public.
