A power outage at the National Stadium in Guyana interrupted the Caribbean Premier League eliminator match between the Trinbago Knight Riders and Barbados Royals. Three of six lighting towers lost power around 9:20 PM, causing a nearly three-hour delay. Despite prior outages in CPL history, this was the first major incident during a crucial match. The stadium operates on its own generator, and power was restored by 10:51 PM. A technical assessment will follow.
