15 killer whales stranded in Kamchatka estuary, one dies; locals assist with water and wait for tide.

A group of killer whales stranded in an estuary in Kamchatka, Russia, due to low tide, resulted in one whale's death. Local authorities and rescue teams are trying to assist the remaining whales by spraying them with water to keep them cool, as moving them to deeper waters is currently impractical. The tide is expected to rise at 9:00 p.m. local time, which should allow the whales to return to the sea.
