Climber falls from East Lion peak, suffers injuries, saved by shrubs, airlifted to hospital.
A climber fell from the East Lion peak in Vancouver's North Shore Mountains and suffered significant injuries after losing consciousness. He fell many meters but was saved by shrubs that broke his fall. After regaining consciousness, he called for help. North Shore Rescue and Talon Helicopters conducted a challenging aerial rescue. The climber was stabilized and flown to a hospital, where he is in stable condition.
