Turkish President Erdogan calls on UN General Assembly to consider force against Israel for continued actions in Gaza and Lebanon.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on the United Nations General Assembly to recommend the use of force against Israel if the UN Security Council does not intervene to halt its actions in Gaza and Lebanon. Referencing the 1950 Uniting for Peace resolution, Erdogan criticized Israel's military operations and stated that Turkey has suspended trade with Israel and plans to join a genocide case against it.
