Swiss cybersecurity firm WiseKey is launching an awareness campaign for a semiconductor fabrication facility aimed at boosting Switzerland's chip production independence. The project, led by its subsidiary SEALSQ Corp, seeks to enhance supply chain security and foster a local semiconductor ecosystem. Beginning with a mini fab, the initiative can cost between $100 million to $1.5 billion and aims to create jobs and attract investments over the next decade.
