Conducted by researchers from UC San Diego and The Salk Institute, the trial involved 108 participants who followed an eight- to ten-hour eating window. Results showed greater fat loss and improved metabolic health compared to standard dietary counseling, suggesting intermittent fasting could be an effective long-term strategy.
