8-9 kittens thrown from SUV at intersection, 1 dead; St. Mary's County Sheriff investigating.
A dead kitten was discovered after a witness reported seeing eight to nine kittens thrown from a silver SUV at the intersection of Routes 5 and 242 in Morganza, St. Mary's County, on September 28. Deputies responded but could not find the other kittens. The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to contact Deputy First Class Nicholas Hill or Crime Solvers.
