The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will temporarily close the State Road 59 bridge, located one mile north of Clay City over Connely Ditch, starting October 7. This closure is for structural evaluation and repairs, expected to last until mid-December, weather permitting. Motorists should use the detour via State Road 246, State Road 159, and State Road 46, and are advised to drive cautiously in the area.
