Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General, Kamran Aliyev, announced that the verdict for the January 27, 2023 attack on its embassy in Iran is pending confirmation from the Iranian Supreme Court. El Fiscal General de Azerbaiyán, Kamran Aliyev, anunció que el veredicto del ataque del 27 de enero de 2023 contra su embajada en Irán está pendiente de confirmación por parte del Tribunal Supremo iraní. The attack resulted in the death of the head of security and injuries to two guards by a gunman armed with a Kalashnikov. Following the incident, Azerbaijan evacuated its officials and suspended embassy operations in Tehran.
