Singapore household electricity and gas tariffs decrease from Oct 1 to Dec 31 due to lower energy costs.
From October 1 to December 31, Singapore will see a decrease in household electricity and gas tariffs due to lower energy costs. Electricity tariffs will drop by 2.6% to 29.10 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) before GST, reducing average monthly bills by $3 for families in four-room flats. Gas tariffs will also decrease by 0.45 cents to 22.97 cents per kWh before GST. These adjustments reflect quarterly reviews influenced by global fuel price fluctuations.
