In September 2024, Mumbai achieved over 100,000 property registrations, the fastest growth in a decade, according to Knight Frank India. The city saw a 12% year-on-year increase in registrations, totaling 105,664, and generated over Rs 8,892 crore in revenue for the state. The demand for high-value properties rose, with those priced above Rs 2 crore making up 23% of registrations, while lower-valued properties declined significantly.
