Albury Thunder rugby league team has parted ways with coach Justin Carney, who is returning to Nyngan for family reasons. Over two seasons, Carney led the team to finals appearances, leaving behind a solid foundation with a strong reserve grade and promising youth. The club is now seeking a new coach, preferably a captain-coach, and will also lose star forward Isaac Carpenter, who is relocating to Brisbane for work.
