The International Energy Agency (IEA) reports that nearly $2 trillion has been allocated globally for clean energy investments since 2020, nearly triple the funding after the 2007-08 financial crisis. Around 80% of this funding went to China, the European Union, and the U.S. The surge in support reflects heightened energy security concerns. Domestic manufacturing incentives for technologies like low-emissions vehicles and hydrogen have also seen significant growth.
