The Syracuse Orange defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders 42-14, improving their record against them to 14 consecutive wins. Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord threw for 385 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions, while wide receiver Jackson Meeks had 10 catches for 161 yards and a touchdown. The Orange defense excelled in the second half, limiting Holy Cross to just 32 yards. Syracuse will next face UNLV on October 4.
