South Korea, China, and Japan have committed to finalizing a legally binding international agreement on plastic pollution. During a two-day meeting on Jeju Island, the environment ministers discussed enhancing cooperation on environmental issues, including climate change and yellow dust. They plan to participate in the upcoming UN negotiations in Busan this November, aimed at addressing plastic pollution, and will also collaborate with Mongolia on yellow dust mitigation.
