A fire in a four-story house in Tondo, Manila, early Sunday claimed the lives of six people, including two infants. The blaze started around 3:50 a.m., trapping the victims, who were asleep on the second floor. One child was injured while attempting to escape by jumping from a window. Firefighters extinguished the fire after more than an hour, and the Bureau of Fire Protection is investigating the cause.
