L&T Semiconductor Technologies, an Indian fabless chip company, plans to start semiconductor production in two years after achieving a revenue threshold of $50 million to $1 billion across various technologies. CEO Sandeep Kumar stated that the company is currently forming teams for 15 products and expects to manage multiple designs by year-end. Collaborating with IBM, L&T aims to develop advanced processors while reducing dependency on foreign firms.
