India and the US are negotiating a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration on critical minerals during Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal's visit to Washington from September 30 to October 3. The discussions, led by Goyal and US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, aim to expand and diversify supply chains for essential minerals crucial to clean energy technologies. Goyal will also engage with business leaders and meet US Trade Representative Katherine Tai to strengthen bilateral trade ties.
