On September 28, Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies found two deceased individuals, a man and a woman, in a Grand Haven Township home during a wellness check prompted by a call reporting concerning comments and a possible gunshot. After securing the area and failing to communicate with residents, the Critical Response Team entered the residence. Authorities confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public, and the investigation is ongoing.
